My asp scripts give me an Error 500 with no useful debugging information. How can I fix this?

This is a problem with IE version 5 and up.

If you go into Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced, there's a check box for "Show Friendly HTTP error messages." Uncheck this box, and magically, you'll see usable errors. You could also try using Firefox, or another browser!
