My perl scripts keep timing out on IIS.

If you are setting up a new IIS server, and your perl/CGI scripts are timinig out, make sure you have set up the cgi script mappings correctly.  In IIS 6, go to "Properties", then "Home Directory":

Click: Configuration

Make sure you add mappings like so:

Extension: .cgi (add one as well for .pl if you use it)

Executable Path: c:\perl\bin\perl.exe "%s" %s

Verbs: GET,HEAD,POST

Script Engine (checked)

Check that file exists (checked)
